923 - HENRY PEFFLY SOLLENBERGER (son of No.876) married:
1 - June 7th, 1896 CLARA ALICE WAGNER, born Apr. 28th, 1874 at
Trotwood, O., died May 2nd, 1919 (dau. of JOHN and SUSANNA
(Olinger) WAGNER). She and Henry are buried at Happy Corner
Cemetery.
2 - July 30th, 1924 MRS. MYRTLE McGUIRE, of Campbell Co., Ky., born Sept. 1873, Clinton County, died Apr. 19th, 1932, buried at
Mt. Sterling, O., (dau. of JOHN and SARAH E. (Underwood) McGUIRE). Henry P. Sollenberger was numbered among the
progressive and prosperous agriculturists of Madison twp. Mont. Co., Ohio. He owned an excellent farm of 96 acres about two miles
north of Trotwood, O. He was born on the old homestead near
Union, O. Henry acquired his education in the country schools and helped his father on the farm. He saved his earnings until he was
able to purchase his own farm, where he lived until 1920. By this
time he was prosperous and had an attractive and modern home as
well as substantial and commodious out buildings. Here his first
wife passed away.
In 1920 Mr. Sollenberger retired from farming and moved into
Trotwood, later in the year he built a new home in Dayton where
he passed away in 1926.
Issue: all born near Trotwood, Ohio.
