1296 - SAMUEL McCLELLEN PEFLEY (son of No.1295) married at Spokane, Wash., Apr. 12th, 1894, ANNIE EWING ALLEN, born Aug. 12th, 1869 (dau. of DR. JAMES MITCHEM and ELIZABETH (Ewing) ALLEN).

Dr. Allen was one of the earliest Christian Church ministers in Spokane. He was pastor of the Central Christian Church, 3rd and Post Sts. for a number of years. He was the first pastor of the Dean Ave. Christian Church of that city.

Samuel Pefley is a printer receiving his early training in a printing office in Ladoga. For more than forty years he has been with The Spokesman- Review, Spokane, Wash.

Anna Pefley is an accomplished pianist.
