371 - JOHN WILL MORRIS (son of No.359) married at Paris, Ill., Apr. 12th, 1911 ELSADA ISABELLE SHUCK, born May 2nd, 1875, Windsor, Ill., (dau. of WILLIAM SHUCK and ELIZABETH JANE CAIN).

John came to Illinois with his parents in 1874. He engaged in timber work until 1885. He entered the service of the Missouri Pacific Railroad in April 1889 and worked for them until April 28th, 1899. Then he enlisted at Denver Colo., in Co. B 18th U. S. Inf. He joined the regiment at Ilo Ilo, Pana, Philippine Islands. He served through the Insurrection on Pana Island. Came back to the United States in 1901 and served out his three year enlistment and was discharged at Fort Bliss, Texas in April 1902 with a clear record.

He entered the railroad service again in May 1902 and quit in August 1903. He then came home to take care of his father and mother until their death. He is a member of Fidelity Lodge No. 576, I. O. O. F. and Windsor Lodge No. 322 A. F. & A. M. He and all of his family are members of the Methodist Church, Windsor. He has worked at the carpenter trade continuously since 1903.
