2 - May 1st, 1849, Roanoke Co., Va., BENJAMIN BRUBAKER, born April 8th, 1816, died Mar. 25th, 1891, Roanoke Co., Va. Both are buried in the Ben. Brubaker Cemetery, Hanging Rock, Va. (Records are from the Ben. Brubaker bible, now (1938) owned by Levi A. Huffman, Salem, Va.) Ben. Brubaker married first MARY GARST, dau. of JOHN GARST and CHRISTINA PEFFLEY (See No.443</<).

The writer visited, in July 1937 the home of Ben. and Susannah Brubaker, which is now owned by a grandson, Levi A. Huffman.
