Leonard was a son of Philip Christian Miller and Mary Ella Howell(Daughter of John Howell, of Portland Oregon area), Philip Miller was a son of Abraham George Miller,Jr. (Widower of Julia Ann Morgan) and Elizabeth Crowley Dagley (Widow of Joseph Warren Turnage))

2: Margaret Ella Chappel, April 26, 1965, at Los Angeles, California. Margaret was born July 10, 1908, in Santa Cruz, California. She died November 07, 2000, in Anahiem, Orange, California, and is interred at Green Hills Mem. Park, Rancho Palos Verdes, Los Angeles, Ca., next to her first husband, Edward Lieb, Sr., this couple had a son Edward Lieb, Jr. who was a Professor of Media Production at The University of Southern California.

Chester was an Aircraft Design Electricial Engineer for Lockheed Aircraft Corporation's "Skunkworks" in Burbank, California, and at the Rye Canyon facility from 1937 until his retirement. Chester was also a well known Cycad (a desert succulent) expert, having several species named after him as discoverer. Chester died July 06, 1983, of multi-melanoma, and is buried at Grand View Memorial Park, Glendale, California.
