247 - ROBERT EDWARD LEE PEFFLEY (son of No. 233) was born in Parke Co. Indiana, October 17, 1868, he died in Bridgeton, Indiana on May 8, 1938. He is buried in Clear Run Cemetery.

He married at Rockville, Parke Co. Indiana, Indiana, Dec. 22nd, 1892; JENNIE LOLA BELT, (daughter of GEORGE CROUCH BELT and MATILDA EVANGELINE EVANS). She was born March 29, 1874, in Bridgeton (Parke Co.) Indiana, and died November 10, 1957 in Bridgeton. She is also buried in Clear Run Cemetery.

Robert Peffley farmed for many years then entered the sawmill business in Bridgeton. He was also a carpenter.
