(Alva) RAY PEFLEY

Ray Pefley of 105 E. High St., Rockville, age 81 died at his home, Sunday morning, June 17. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of Fellenzer Post American Legion. He was a retired farmer, mill worker, and railroader.

Surviving are the widow, Leta Trusler Peffley; two step-daughters, Mrs. Heazel Grinley and Mrs. Mary E. Kratzer, both of Terre Haute; two step-sons, Paul Minderman of Rockville and John Minderman of Terre Haute; five sisters, Mrs. Dora Peffley Overpeck, Mrs. Cleo Peffley Miller and Mrs. Thelma Peffley Bradfield of Rockville, Mrs. Opal Peffley Vandivier of Bloomingdale and Miss Doris Pefley of Terre Haute; a brother, Earl Peffley of Crawfordsville; and several step-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Butler Funeral Home, Tuesday afternoon, with Rev. B. F. Nickless officiating. Burial was in Memory Garden Cemetery.
