1308 - DANIEL STOVER PEFLEY (son of No.1257) married (by Elder E. D. Thomas) near Danville, Ind., Dec. 18th, 1873, JENNIE LIND NOLAND, born Sept. 10th, 1853, died at Billings, Mont., Mar. 9th, 1935 (dau. of JAMES MADISON and MAY (Porter) NOLAND). She is buried at Mt. View Cemetery, Billings.

Daniel has been a farmer most of his life; also a carpenter. He was reared in Indiana until he was 22 years of age, when he moved to Waubeck, Iowa. In 1873 he went back to Indiana to be married and brought his wife back to Iowa, staying there until August of that year. He then moved to Oswego, Kansas, where he resided until 1900. Then to Kansas City, Kansas, until 1907, when he moved to Roberts, Montana, where he homesteaded until 1929: Then he sold out and moved to Billings, Mont., where he now resides with his daughter, Josephine. Daniel is the only one of Samuel and Hannah's children now living. He is still quite active in mind and body. He celebrated his 91st birthday Feb. 28th, 1938.
